Stoic Swine is a scavenger of fleeting on-line imagery. Once captured, these potentially disposable moments are ordained to be given a greater memorialized value as they pass through the artist's meticulous process of ball point pen drawings on larger than life-size canvases. In Stoic's economy, the rendered figure is one constantly thrown in distress, torn apart by constant cravings and want of validation through his hatched marks. For Stoic, drawing is not only a means of obsessive compulsion but also becomes a method of expression that straddles the divisive edge between aversion and desire, both in content and in execution.
